N.Y. Multiple Residence Law Section 107
Entrance doors


Every door giving access to an entrance hall from outside the dwelling shall contain at least five square feet of glazed surface. Every such door shall open outwardly. The width of every such door shall be at least forty-four inches. However, when double doors are provided each of the doors separately shall be at least two feet six inches.
