Falconry advisory board


The commissioner shall appoint a falconry advisory board of not less than five members who are residents of the state and who shall serve at the pleasure of the commissioner and who shall be qualified by reason of their association with state or national organizations or institutions with primary interests in ornithology, falconry or wildlife conservation. The duties of the falconry advisory board shall include (i) recommending qualifications for eligibility of applicants for falconry licenses, (ii) reviewing and screening applications for falconry licenses and recommending action to be taken on each application, (iii) recommending the species and number of raptors which may be possessed or taken from the wild by each applicant and the manner of such taking, and

(iv)

recommending falconry hunting seasons and regulations for various game species.
