N.Y. Education Law Section 1501-C
Voting by residents of certain facilities


Notwithstanding any provision of this title to the contrary, the provisions of Election Law § 8-407 (Voting by residents of nursing homes, residential health care facilities, facilities operated or licensed, or under the jurisdiction of, ...)section 8-407 of the election law shall apply to all elections conducted pursuant to this title by a school district. The board of elections of the city or county in which a school district is located shall provide for the implementation of the provisions of this section.
