N.Y. Rapid Transit Law Section 108
Continuity of jurisdiction


The board of transportation shall be deemed and held to constitute a continuation, as to matters within its jurisdiction, of the transit commission, and not as a new commission, for the purpose of succession to all such of the rights, powers, duties and obligations of the transit commission transferred to such board of transportation.
