N.Y. Labor Law Section 728-A
Limitation of prosecutions under this article


A prosecution for a misdemeanor consisting of a violation of any provision of article twenty-A of the labor law must be commenced within two years after the facts constituting the crime have been or, in the exercise of reasonable diligence, should have been discovered by the industrial commissioner or by an officer or employee in the department of labor charged with the responsibility of investigating matters reported or required to be reported to the industrial commissioner pursuant to such article.
