Payment of charges

A consumer may only be required to pay charges to a litigation funding company when the resolution of any of the consumer’s legal claims subject to a contract is final, related appeals, if any, have been resolved, and proceeds of the settlement, judgment, award or verdict have been received by the consumer’s counsel. * NB Effective June 17, 2026
