N.Y. Executive Law Section 523-M
Chair of the independent review board


The commissioner shall appoint one of the members of the independent review board to serve as its chair. The member so appointed shall serve as chair for a term of three years. The chair of the board shall:

1.

be responsible for coordinating the activities of the board, with the assistance of the director;

2.

preside at meetings of the board;

3.

establish agenda items for board meetings; and

4.

make recommendations to the commissioner for the removal of inactive board members.
