N.Y. Banking Law Section 333
Access to safe deposit boxes by certain fiduciaries


Where a safe deposit box is let by a lessor to one or more persons acting as executors, administrators, trustees, guardians, a committee, or as conservators, the lessor may, except as otherwise expressly provided by the terms of the lease or by the will or other instrument or order or decree under which such person or persons may be acting, allow access thereto as follows:

1.

By any one or more of the persons acting as executors or administrators;

2.

By any one or more of the persons acting as trustees, guardians, a committee, or as conservators when authorized in writing signed by the other person or all other persons so acting.

3.

By any agent, authorized in a writing signed and duly acknowledged by the person, or if more than one, by all the persons acting as executors, administrators, trustees or guardians, a committee, or as conservators.
