N.Y. Village Law Section 3-310
Abolition of separate or municipal boards


If a resolution or local law is adopted by the board of trustees abolishing any separate board, the abolition of such board or boards shall take effect immediately. The clerk of the village shall forthwith notify the members of such board or boards in writing and they shall within ten days deliver to the clerk of the village its records, books and papers; and shall also within the same time deliver to the treasurer all funds, and to the mayor all other property in its possession or under its control.
