N.Y. Public Authorities Law Section 1118
Albany water board


For the benefit of the city of Albany and the inhabitants thereof, a water board to be known as the Albany water board is hereby established for the accomplishment of any or all of the purposes specified in title six of article 5 (Public Utility Authorities)article five of this chapter. It shall have the powers and duties now or hereafter conferred by title six of article 5 (Public Utility Authorities)article five of this chapter upon a water board. It shall be organized in a manner prescribed by and be subject to the provisions of title six of article 5 (Public Utility Authorities)article five of this chapter. The water board, its members, officers and employees and its operations and activities shall in all respects be governed by the provisions of title six of article 5 (Public Utility Authorities)article five of this chapter.
