N.Y. Military Law Section 130.19
Jurisdiction of special courts-martial


Subject to section 130.17, special courts-martial shall have jurisdiction to try persons subject to this code for any offense for which they may be punished by this code. Special courts-martial shall have the power to sentence to: confinement with hard labor for not exceeding one hundred days; fines not exceeding one hundred dollars; confinement with hard labor in lieu of fines imposed not exceeding one day for each dollar of fine imposed; forfeiture of pay and allowances not exceeding one hundred dollars; bad conduct discharge; reprimand; reduction of noncommissioned officers to an inferior grade; and to combine any two or more of such punishments in the sentences imposed. A bad conduct discharge shall not be adjudged unless a complete record of the proceedings and testimony before the court has been made.
