N.Y. Insurance Law Section 7012
Franchise taxes

Captive insurance companies licensed to do a captive insurance business shall be liable for the payment of franchise taxes in accordance with Tax Law § 1502-B (Computation of tax for captive insurance companies)section fifteen hundred two-b of the tax law.
