N.Y. General Municipal Law Section 465
Payment of compensation and reimbursement for traveling expenses

In addition to paying such compensation as may be prescribed pursuant to § 464 (Appointment of members of interlocal advisory boards)section four hundred sixty-four of this article, a contracting public agency of this state may reimburse its representatives on an interlocal advisory board for expenses for travel, both within and without this state, incurred by them in connection with services on such board.
