N.Y. Education Law Section 4711
Reports to board of supervisors

The board of managers of such school shall report in writing to the board of supervisors or other governing elective body of the county when called upon to do so, and shall transmit such report to the clerk of such board or body, annually, on or before the thirtieth day of June. Such annual report shall state such facts in respect to the school as the board of managers may deem advisable and as the board of supervisors or other governing elective body may require. Such board or body may, by a committee or any of its members or appointees, inspect such school, and for such purpose may enter upon the land and into the buildings of such school at all reasonable times.
