N.Y. Civil Practice Law & Rules Section 1354
Joinder of a party

A person or enterprise not convicted of the crime of enterprise corruption may be made a party to a civil action under this article, whenever joinder of such person or enterprise is necessary pursuant to § 1001 (Necessary joinder of parties)section 1001 of this chapter.
