N.Y. Banking Law Section 749
Severability

If any provision of this article or the application thereof to any person or circumstances is held to be invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications of this article which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, and to this end the provisions of this article are severable. * NB Effective upon the one hundred eightieth day after the promulgation of rules and/or regulations by the department of financial services to effectuate certain provisions (see Ch. 58 of 2025, Part Y, § 13)
