N.Y. Transportation Corporations Law Section 109
Inconsistent acts


The provisions of any act and parts of acts, including the charter of Greater New York and the charter of any other city of the state, which are inconsistent with this article, and insofar only as they are inconsistent with this article, shall have no application to the rights, powers and obligations conferred or created by and under authority of this article or to any proceedings thereunder. Nothing in this article shall be construed to prevent the organization of a corporation under the provisions of article four of the business corporation law for the purpose of owning, controlling or operating warehouses, docks, wharves or water craft, but no corporation formed for any such purpose under the provisions of the business corporation law shall have the right or power to acquire real property by condemnation.
