N.Y. Public Housing Law Section 569
Town of Mamaroneck housing authority


A municipal housing authority, to be known as the town of Mamaroneck housing authority, is hereby created and established for the town of Mamaroneck in the county of Westchester for the accomplishment of any or all of the purposes specified in article eighteen of the constitution of the state of New York. It shall constitute a body corporate and politic, be perpetual in duration and consist of not less than three nor more than seven members. It shall have the powers and duties now or hereafter conferred by this chapter upon municipal housing authorities. It shall be organized in the manner prescribed by and subject to the provisions of this chapter; and the authority, its members, officers and employees and its operation and activities shall in all respects be governed by the provisions of this chapter. For the purposes of article fifteen-A of the executive law only, the authority shall be deemed a state agency as that term is used in such article, and its contracts for design, construction, services and materials shall be deemed state contracts within the meaning of that term as set forth in such article. * NB There are 2 § 569’s
