N.Y. Public Health Law Section 2711
New York state kidney disease institute

1.

The New York state kidney disease institute is hereby created within the department of health.

2.

The commissioner shall appoint a director of the institute and may employ such assistants and personnel, within the amounts appropriated, as is necessary to carry out the provisions of this article.
