N.Y. Public Health Law Section 2700
Bureau of chronic disease and geriatrics established

The state department of health shall establish a bureau of chronic disease and geriatrics, which shall develop a program designed to improve and protect the health and vitality of middle-aged and elderly citizens of the state.
