Definition


As used or referred to in this title, unless a different meaning clearly appears from the context “stem cell” means stem or progenitor cells that divide and are capable of generating one or more different types of progeny. Stem cells and their progeny can potentially repair or replace specific tissues or be used to develop disease models. * NB Repealed December 31, 2025
