Typhoid fever

1.

No expenditure for the purposes authorized in sections two thousand one hundred fifty and two thousand one hundred fifty-one of this chapter, shall be contracted for or incurred by any agency or person until after such expense has been authorized and approved by the commissioner.

(a) A verified statement of any such approved expense incurred pursuant to this section and sections two thousand one hundred fifty and two thousand one hundred fifty-one of this chapter, shall be transmitted to the commissioner.

(b)

The commissioner shall examine the statement and if satisfied that such authorized expenses are correct and necessary in accordance with rules and regulations adopted by him he shall audit and allow the same and when so audited the amount thereof shall be paid by the state department of taxation and finance, on the warrant of the state comptroller to the institution, agency or person.
