N.Y. Public Health Law Section 1150
Definitions

As used in this title the term “water works corporation” shall mean any entity that has one thousand or more water service connections, and comes within the definition in Public Service Law § 2 (Definitions)section two of the public service law or paragraph (a) of subdivision one of General Municipal Law § 120-U (Mutual aid for water service)section one hundred twenty-u of the general municipal law.
