N.Y. Public Authorities Law Section 1226-BB
“Upper Mohawk Valley regional water board”


For the benefit of the Upper Mohawk Valley and the inhabitants thereof, a water board to be known as the Upper Mohawk Valley regional water board is hereby established for the accomplishment of any or all of the purposes specified in title ten of article 5 (Public Utility Authorities)article five of this chapter. It shall have the powers and duties now or hereafter conferred by title ten of article 5 (Public Utility Authorities)article five of this chapter upon a water board. It shall be organized in a manner prescribed by and be subject to the provisions of title ten of article 5 (Public Utility Authorities)article five of this chapter. The water board, its members, officers and employees and its operations and activities shall in all respects be governed by the provisions of title ten of article 5 (Public Utility Authorities)article five of this chapter.
