N.Y. Cannabis Law Section 108
Hemp workgroup


The board, in consultation with the commissioner of the department of agriculture and markets, may appoint a New York state hemp and hemp extract workgroup, composed of growers, researchers, producers, processors, manufacturers and trade associations, to make recommendations for the industrial hemp and cannabinoid hemp programs, state and federal policies and policy initiatives, and opportunities for the promotion and marketing of cannabinoid hemp and hemp extract as consistent with federal and state laws, rules and regulations.
