N.Y. Agriculture & Markets Law Section 220
Granting or revoking licenses


The commissioner may decline to grant a license or may suspend or revoke a license already granted, after due notice to the applicant or licensee by mail or otherwise and opportunity to be heard, when it appears (1) that any statement in the application or upon which it was issued is or was false or misleading, (2) that the applicant or licensee does not have adequate physical facilities for salvaging food and food products, (3) that the applicant has been convicted of a crime, or

(4)

that the applicant or licensee has failed to comply with any of the provisions of this chapter or rules and regulations promulgated pursuant thereto.
