Notification of Non-resident Commercial Operator Convictions
§ 514-c. Notification of non-resident commercial operator convictions. Within ten days of the conviction of:
(a)
any holder of a commercial learner’s permit or a commercial driver’s license issued by another state for any violation of state or local law regulating traffic, other than a parking, stopping or standing violation, committed while operating a motor vehicle in this state; or
(b)
any holder of a driver’s license issued by another state for any violation of state or local law regulating traffic, other than a parking, stopping or standing violation, committed while operating a commercial motor vehicle in this state, the commissioner shall provide notice of such conviction to the state which issued such holder’s commercial learner’s permit, commercial driver’s license or driver’s license.
